You may be in a helpless state right now and with the pandemic ravaging the earth and world where there is fear, shortage of food and needs, government of nations have failed and we only look up now to heaven, to God that we serve the maker of man, the God that is all sufficient amidst any trials, lack, need, human suffering and pandemic. I took a retrospect at what happened when Pharaoh refuse to grant the Israelites freedom and they experience some pain and many pandemics ranging from the invasion of locust, water turning to blood, bugs, death of first born etc which no scientist was able to profer a solution until God took everything away.
My emphasis is where science and all human wisdom failed, God proved that he was in control of the earth, still and forever in control.
I want to leave us with 2 things:
- A troubled Heart has no benefit- john 14:1.
Let not your heart be troubled:ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Our worries and troubles about life doesn’t add or contribute to finding a solution about any challenge.Even as we continue to look alike to normalcy, we should have this at the back of our mind that God is our source.
A friend once told me that” a troubled heart sometimes sees no solution”
2. Proverbs 3:5-8
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel and marrow thy bones
. We should develop total trust in God. People sometimes try to assist God even after proclaiming their trust in God. It should be a closed and settled issue once handed over to him.
Imagine someone opening an account with a bank and going to check the bank everyday to make sure the bank hasn’t stopped operations or to check whether the bank has been destroyed by fire. That is how many Christians trust God.
I often thank God always after committing an issue in his hands because I believe he is well able to take care of that issue.
We serve that same God that is very able to cleanse the land and remove any problem, suffering and pandemic.
God is able, Hallelujah!!!
Even as we experience these times let’s remember that our sufficiency is only in God as we may know every human anchor be it science, money, affluence, job has failed but God has never failed.
I pray that as we have entered into this great month of sufficiency, May the all sufficient God show up for you and your family in Jesus Name. Amen
