GRIEVING OVER THE DEATH OF A LOVED ONE.
What we don’t understand we just put in the hands of God. God knows the best. When He allowe a good and a dear one special to us, that are in Christ come to Him who is going through sickness, pains, that they can not handle is for a reason. Though for us is a loss that is had to understand.
There are truth that we need to know when we lose loved ones so we don’t mourn like the people of the world.
1. Every saint that dies is precious to God
Psalm 116:15 KJV
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
Psalm 72:14 KJV
He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
2. God does not want the person to suffer on earth so as not to be tempted and lose faith in God and not make heaven. Ultimately suffer in hell.
God does not want our loved once to miss heaven.
3. They will rest from the suffering, pains, sickness they may be going through, to have peace and by extension their good works live on after them. That’s why it is said good people don’t die but they live on.
Isaiah 57:1-2 KJV
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. [2] He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
Revelation 14:13 KJV
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them
4.They are not dead but are just asleep and we will see them again.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 KJV
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
4. They are with God right now. Let us rejoice and be strong
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 KJV
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: [7] (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) [8] We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Lets cheer up, be comforted,.
Proverbs 10:7a
The memory of the just is blessed:..
I want us to always know that we are loved and cherished by God. Blessings
